WGI Sport of the Arts Color Guard World Championship

WGI Sport of the Arts is the world's premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion ensemble, and winds competitions. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format.  Competition WGI uses a competition-based approach for organizing events in order to showcase youth activities in pursuit of high standards of achievement. Events include over 60 Regionals and Power Regionals, which lead to the three-day World Championships that evaluate more than 350 guards, 250 percussion ensembles, and 40 winds groups.

Brukner Nature Center’s 5K Run Wild for Wildlife

This 5K run/walk starts and finishes at the parking lot and winds through the woods along wildflower studded trails. Steep hills and rough terrain is involved but you can handle it!  Bring a friend, but leave Fido at home, pets are not allowed at BNC – they scare our wildlife!
