SPRING EQUINOX PRESENTATION & ART EXHIBIT
Come enjoy homemade refreshments made with local ingredients while you take in our Spring Art Exhibit featuring the works of Faith Ritchie, “Ohio’s Forest Floor…” on Thursday, March 21st at 7:00pm. Faith is an artist, nature photographer, and mushroom enthusiast based out of Dayton, Ohio. She takes a subtle approach to her subject matter, creating simple but magical scenes with her use of perspective and natural lighting. Faith also playfully creates self-portrait photo collages and short videos showcasing the beauty of Ohio nature, especially mushrooms!
At 7:15, we’ll settle into our seats to welcome Educator Kevin McLane, an organizer of Ohio Mushroom Festival who will be joining Faith to speak about what’s currently happening in the world of mycology, sharing with us some of his extensive knowledge of foraging and Ohio mushrooms. Admission for this seasonal celebration is Free, so bring a friend and enjoy a warm and relaxing evening of art and entertainment!! Faith’s art will be on sale in the Heidelberg Auditorium through June 16. Thanks to the generosity of our artists, a 25% of each sale is donated to support BNC’s mission of wildlife conservation!
