These expressions of reality by master sculptor Seward Johnson are easy to confuse as real people, the sculptures are so lifelike! Sculptures on the Square 2019!

Since 2003, Troy Main Street and its partners, have championed a variety of extraordinary art exhibits to the downtown Troy area. It all started with a vision of curating an exhibit of life-size sculptures by Seward Johnson. From this, Sculptures on the Square was formed, and its mission continues as it introduces outdoor art to residents and visitors. Beginning June 14, 2019, you can witness the excitement for yourself. A NEW Home Grown Great Website Announced!

The Miami County Visitors & Convention Bureau launched their newest website, www.HomeGrownGreat.com. Designed by Peebles Creative Group from Dublin, Ohio, with creative talent and input by the MCVCB team, the website has been a Bureau priority for the last five months. “Our former site was about 5 years old. Home Grown Parks – Hobart Urban Nature Preserve

Located at 1400 Tyrone Rd, in the heart of Troy Ohio is Hobart Urban Nature Preserve. With over 80 acres of land and over 2 miles of hiking trails, this beautiful park is surrounded by residential area. A unique aspect of this park is the collection of 4 welded steel sculptures donated by the Hobart Welding Institute, placed in specific habitats to highlight the relationship between nature and art.

Located along the Greenville Creek lies the Greenville Falls State Scenic River Area at 9140 Covington-Gettysburg Rd, in Covington Ohio. This park has nearly 1 mile of hiking trail and 92 acres of land. The falls itself cascades 20 feet and can be viewed from the viewing platform. You can find a natural limestone arch along the river as well.
