  • Looking for a new place in Miami County to Explore? Look no further! Check out some of the unique outdoor spots in Miami County. Suspension Bridge – Covington Walk over the scenic Stillwater River at Maple Ridge in Covington.  The suspension bridge is a great hike connecting Miami County Parks Maple Ridge and Stillwater Prairie Reserve. Robinson Reserve- Troy The Robinson Reserve consists of a variety of trees, grasses, sedges and other flowering plants surrounding a 1.5 mile gravel walking path.   • This summer, downtown Troy will once again welcome a variety of artwork as part of Troy Main Street’s biennial Sculptures on the Square exhibition. This year’s exhibit features 25 sculptures from artists throughout the United States as well as local artwork that will be hung in local businesses. Sculptures on the Square will be running from June 16 – October 2, 2023. The exhibition will kick off on Friday, June 16th with the Sculptures on the Square Opening Celebration. The event will take place at The Rec in downtown Troy and additional activities centered around the theme “Wind and Water”

  • Berries Rock

    May 25, 2023

    Berries Rock! The Troy Strawberry Festival is back and better than ever for its first festival since 2019. Located along the banks of the Great Miami River and through downtown Troy, this weekend-long festival will take place Saturday, June 3rd, 10:00am-9:00pm, and Sunday, June 4th, 10:00am-6:00pm. The festival includes over 100 arts and crafts vendors, great food, entertainment, and of course lots of strawberries. There is something for everyone to enjoy! Savor over 50 food and beverage vendors spread throughout downtown Troy. Try a variety of strawberry-based dishes from the classic strawberry donut or shortcake to the more unique strawberry options

  • Climb and zipline with the Miami County Parks District at Lost Creek Reserve!  This 35 foot tall wooden tower was completed last fall. Features include two rock walls, a cargo net climb, and the 450ft zip line. The tower allows participants to safely enjoy a climbing experience and the adrenaline rush of riding on a zip line. The tower is only open for programs when tower can be staffed and activities can be led by trained Miami County Park District employees. You can find these programs on the parks website HERE.
