Miami County Courthouse: A Brief History

The Miami County Courthouse, located in Troy, Ohio, has a rich history dating back to its construction in the early 1880s. Construction of the Miami County Courthouse began in 1885 and was completed in 1888. Joesph Yost of Columbus, Ohio was the architect who designed this building. Statues placed at the top of the Courthouse represent what was most important to Miami County in 1888.
