So what is PorchFest? Imagine about 40+ bands in a hodgepodge of styles and genres playing throughout the Southwest Historic district on porches, in side-yards, lots and patios. Pick up a walkable map of the event and choose your favorite bands. Tour one concert after the other! There will be food trucks and artisan tents. And bring some bills to put in your favorite band's cookie jars!

Bear The Moon Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 7:30 pm - The Hayner will host an indie band for its third Lucky Lemonade concert on July 22, 2025 at 7:30 pm. Bear the Moon is made up of four good friends that have been vibing together since 2022. Alex Karshner is a guitarist and the lead vocalist, Justin Ghamandi will also play guitar, Lawrence Cobb is on bass and Travis Gray will play the drums. Their harmonies are smooth and blended with an understanding and intuition of where each member is coming from. Their Indie sound is gentle and mature.

Nasty Bingo Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7:30 pm - This jazzy group features Matt Byanski leading the distinctive vocals, Red Baumgardner on banjo, Ron White on bass, Casey Ott on guitar Philip Bradley-Hutchinson on trumpet and Michael Bisig on sax. The group had to invent a new genre to help us understand the funkiness and unhinged creativity that they call funkadelic. Jim is a pillar in the music community in our region. To understand Jim McCutcheon and the impact that he has had, one first needs to understand how many musical pots he stirs. Jim is the owner of McCutcheon Music which is a 30 + year old, Centerville based, music store providing lessons, rentals and repairs. Since 1978 he has taught at the University of Dayton. She holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance, summa cum laude, from Seoul National University and a Master of Music from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
