Ohio Goes to the Movies- Miami County Edition

Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohio actors, directors, composers, writers, locations and topics. Movies will be shown in cities and towns across the state. A variety of movies will include independent films, Hollywood blockbusters, and industrial/special interest films, from rare archival footage to contemporary works. Miami County is excited to celebrate Ohio Goes to the Movies with a variety of movies being shown throughout the county.

Pitsenbarger Movie Night- Piqua

The AFA Wright Memorial Chapter, Dayton Ohio, is proud to present a free evening Screening of “The Last Full Measure”, a film inspired by Piqua native William Pitsenbarger’s story. The showing will be on April 10th at 6:30PM at Piqua High School. The night begins with movie production notes by Dr. Ronald “Jake” Clark and Adam Carr, both were advisors to the Director of the film, Todd Robinson, followed by the movie. Attendees under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Ohio Goes to the Movies: The Wizard of Oz- Troy- Miami County Public Library

Friday May 22nd at 6:30pm, join the Troy-Miami County Public Library for an evening under the stars with an outdoor showing of the Wizard of Oz. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, family, and friends for a night full of fun, nostalgia, and movie magic on a big outdoor screen in the library park. Kick off the evening with Wizard of Oz–themed trivia, meet characters who bring the Land of Oz to life, and stick around after the credits roll for exciting prizes and discussion. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Oz for the first time, there’s no place like movie night!

Tipp City Library Goes To The Movies
