The Hayner Center is hosting the opening party for the annual Juneteenth Celebrations in conjunction with IDEA Troy. The event will feature a very special musical program with musician Mike Wade. Wade is a Cincinnati based jazz trumpet player and band leader. Mike will be putting together a special “Historic Jazz Band” for Troy, bringing us the history of American jazz music. Joining him will be Cincinnati Jazz-Hall-of-Famers Melvin Broach on drums and Eugene Goss on vocals.
