Johnston Farm & Indian Agency hosts this First Annual Photo Contest! Grab your camera, or just bring your smartphone, and capture the wonder of the site through photography! Be sure to share your best photo through our Facebook page for a chance to win the public choice award. Two local photographers will be on hand to share techniques, display their work, and judge submissions in youth and adult divisions. Cost: Site Admission.

Fresh vegetables, homemade treats, and warm, sunny Saturday mornings are right around the corner! The market will begin on Saturday, June 8th and will run through September 28th, 2024, on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. The market features fresh local produce, bread, artisan cheeses, maple syrup, honey, baked goods, locally raised meat, artists’ booths, live music, other entertainment, and much more. The location on S. Cherry St, just off W. Main Street, is convenient for shoppers with adjacent parking.

Join us in the Gallery on Wednesday, July 17 at 6:30pm as Carmen from the Farmhouse Bakery will be leading a cookie decorating demonstration! Each station will be set up with 6 blank cookies (2 watermelon slices + 2 margarita glasses + 2 suns), icing, and all the proper decorating tools. Carmen will lead a short demonstration, and then the evening is yours to enjoy! Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Enjoy a display of antique Christmas ornaments and make your own. Featuring living history actor, Chris Hart, and held in collaboration with Apple Tree Gallery, Piqua. Cost: Site Admission.
