Join Troy Main Street and the Troy Noon Optimists Club for the annual Hometown Halloween Event! Hometown Halloween will kick-off at the Courthouse Plaza with the Costume Contest judging beginning promptly at 9:00 AM. Contestants should arrive between 8:30AM-8:45AM. After the judging takes place, participants can walk through over 25 Downtown Troy businesses for Trick or Treating from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Look for an orange sign on their door/window indicating if they are participating.
Step back in time to 1776 at this year’s Boo Bash! Kids can journey through American history with patriotic crafts, games and activities inspired by the people and events of 1776. Follow the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, take part in the Boston Tea Party, play 1776 Bingo, discover the Liberty Bell and even meet George Washington! Downtown Troy’s Scare on the Square Pub Crawl is your excuse to get dressed up, grab a drink, and haunt your favorite downtown spots. Costumes are highly encouraged, the more creative (or ridiculous), the better. Pick up your stamp card and crawl your way through participating DORA locations, stopping in to purchase a drink of your choice.
