July 4th Family Fun in Piqua! Activities begin at 3pm and end at 9:30 p.m. in time for a spectacular fireworks display at 10 p.m. There will be great local live music, food trucks, and vendors for all to enjoy!
This 3-day biplane frenzy will be an aviation event you don't want to miss. The goal to gather 100 WACOs for the 100th Anniversary will take place on WACO Field. WACO biplane rides, a Swing Dance, historic reenactments, kids activities, fly-overs, car shows, food trucks, and more! Each day offers something new. Come celebrate September 15th-17th! The public events will kick off at WACO Field Friday at 9 am, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 pm, prior to an evening car show featuring pre-war vehicles. Live music will highlight local Jerry Mullins (4-6 pm), Seth Canan and The Carriers
Art stations of various mediums, led by local creatives, with activities and art-learning opportunities for all. Each station will feature a different discipline of the arts, with the freedom to experiment with these various art forms. Participants will experience hands-on art opportunities with these differentiating art practices and take home their own creations. There will be three canal boat rides aboard the General Harrison of Piqua; at 12:30, 2:30, & 4:00 to give passengers an idea of what canawlers saw in 1845 as they moved across western Ohio by canal boat. The Museum of Troy History and Hayner Distilling are presenting the History of Hayner Distilling with Walking Tour and Tasting on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 1 - 4 pm. Tickets to the fundraising event are $25 and must be purchased from Eventbrite. This is a fundraising event for the museum and 100% of the sales go to the Museum of Troy History.
