Held in the heart of downtown Piqua, this beloved tradition brings together local farmers, artisans, and residents to celebrate fresh, locally sourced food and handcrafted goods. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. When and Where The Farmer’s Market takes place every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, running from May 28 through October 8. Thousands of numbered rubber ducks make their way down the Great Miami River. Will your duck be the winner of a $1000 grand prize? Many family-friendly activities and several food trucks will add to the quacking fun of the day. Bring your “ducked” out Jeep to the cruise-in for a chance to win one of our unique trophies and prizes. After the ducks have been collected and the Jeeps have been judged, grab a seat on the Lock 9 lawn to enjoy a hometown concert sponsored by the City of Piqua. Ohio’s largest one-day cycling event, The Tour de Donut is a unique bicycle event, where your ability to eat donuts is just as important as your ability to ride your bicycle fast. The event is a mass start timed ride where riders visit donut stops and eat donuts. For each donut, the rider eats during the ride (and keeps down) they have 5 minutes deducted from their ride time. There are prizes in several classes including the coveted golden Tour de Donut championship belt for the best adjusted “donut time”. We also award the most donuts eaten in several classes,
