Twilight Cemetery walk of Revolutionary soldiers

“As twilight falls and shadows lengthen, the Pleasant Hill Cemetery whispers stories of long ago. Walk among the resting places of Revolutionary soldiers and let history stir to life beneath the autumn sky.” ✨ Twilight Cemetery Walk ✨ Join us at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 310 W. Monument St., on Friday, October 24th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Walks will start every 15 minutes until 7:00 p.m. Hear the fascinating stories of four Revolutionary War soldiers laid to rest in our cemetery, brought to life by SAR members in period attire. Refreshments, provided by the local DAR group, will be available

Hometown Halloween

Join Troy Main Street and the Troy Noon Optimists Club for the annual Hometown Halloween Event! Hometown Halloween will kick-off at the Courthouse Plaza with the Costume Contest judging beginning promptly at 9:00 AM. Contestants should arrive between 8:30AM-8:45AM. After the judging takes place, participants can walk through over 25 Downtown Troy businesses for Trick or Treating from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Look for an orange sign on their door/window indicating if they are participating.

Boo Bash at Hayner

The Boo Bash is a family event that includes games, crafts, refreshments, and kid-friendly ghost stories. Children who complete a ghostly list of activities will earn a prize. The entire family is welcome at this free public event. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is proudly supported by the citizens of the Troy City School District through a local tax levy and generous gifts to the Friends of Hayner.
