Winans Chocolates + Coffees handcrafts delicious chocolates, freshly roasted coffees and sweet treats in our hometown of Piqua, Ohio. Visit our candy factory, where you’ll see how we make our delicious chocolates, handmade the same way for generations, and learn how we hand source our coffees from around the world.

Established in the early 1900s and in its 4th generation of family ownership, Winans Chocolates + Coffees brings you cutting edge flavors and time-tested quality. Go behind the scenes with a Winans tour guide and see how we make our delicious candies. Samples are included in every tour!

Advance registration is required for all paid tour opportunities. Tours fill up fast! We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.

TOUR OFFERINGS

Viewing Windows – FREE See the Winans Factory in action as we prepare your favorite candies! Every day will be something different; from copper kettle caramels, buckeyes and brittles to caramel apples. Visit the viewing windows Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 p.m.

Behind the Scenes – $5/person Learn a little Winans history, see how we make our delicious candies, and sample a few sweet treats. Tours are held on Thursdays at 1 p.m., ~60 minutes. Other tours available by request on Wednesdays and Thursdays for groups of 12 or more.

Deluxe Tour – $10/person Enjoy all the features of our Behind the Scenes Tour, plus a coffee sampling and a four-piece chocolate box to take home. Available by request for groups of 12+. Guests of our Behind the Scenes Tour may upgrade to Deluxe for an additional $5.

Bus Tour – $10/person Winans can accommodate large groups – even bus tours! Coffee sampling and a four-piece chocolate box per person are included. Tour is available by request for large groups and bus tours and lasts an hour and 15 minutes. Bus parking is available.

Tour guests can take pictures in the Winans Hometown store and are encouraged to take as many pictures as they want before and after their tour experience. We encourage our guests to share their photos online using any of the following hashtags:
