Miami County Visitors Bureau Accepting Tourism Grant Applications
August 17, 2026
The Miami County Visitors & Convention Bureau (MCVCB) is now accepting tourism grant applications for 2026-2027. Anyone involved in travel and tourism-related activity in Miami County may apply for matching funds of up to $5,000. The purpose of the Miami County Tourism Grant Program is to help develop or bolster destination assets and the visitor experience driving visitation, overnight stays, and increased visitor spending to area communities, to enhance the liveability of the area, to support and encourage collaboration within Miami County and the region, and to assist local and regional organizations in need of financial assistance for new or improved projects that are in line with the MCVCB mission.
There will be $35,000 in grant funds available to be used between November 2026 – December 2027. These funds may be used for but are not limited to new or expanded projects and events that elevate Miami County’s visitor experience, community wayfinding, marketing and promotional opportunities, photography and videography, and enhancements to visitor attractions and museums such as programming, art installations, interactive exhibits, and hands-on experiences. Tourism grant dollars may not represent more than 50% of the total project costs, and priority will be given to first-time projects that promote out-of-county visitation and have more than a local impact.
“Miami County continues to grow because of the creativity and dedication of our local communities and organizations,” said Leiann Stewart, Executive Director. “Through our Tourism Grant Program, we’re excited to support projects that create memorable visitor experiences, strengthen our communities, and showcase everything that makes Miami County a great place to explore. These investments help build a stronger tourism economy while enriching the quality of life for everyone who calls Miami County home.”
