Welcome to the New Year! 2026 is looking to be another exciting year in Miami County with new dining options, events, and things to do throughout the county. Here are just some of the great things to look forward to in 2026.
The United States is celebrating its 250th birthday in 2026! Miami County is proud of its history and heritage and the people who have impacted its forward progress, and we are excited to celebrate America250. Over the next year, Miami County communities, organizations and businesses will be telling the stories of the events, people and places who have impacted Ohio and the country during the American Revolutionary War and beyond. Take a journey through Miami County to museums, murals, sculptures and more on the Miami County History Pass. America250-Ohio is producing six statewide trails to celebrate and honor the history of people, places, and events within specific themes. Miami County has multiple locations on these trails. 4th of July
To help celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Miami County celebrations are going all out for the 4th of July! Follow along HERE to stay up to date on 4th of July events and other America 250 activities.
This new addition to West Milton offers a variety of local vendors that specialize in local art, food, lifestyle shops, and more! 28 Marketplace is located in the restored Pearson Hotel in beautiful downtown West Milton, Ohio.
41 Grill & Draft House- Downtown Troy
41 Grill & Drafthouse opened at the end of 2025 and took over the former space of Speakeasy Miso. They are bringing award-winning burgers and other delicious things to Downtown Troy!
The House of Glass recently opened in Downtown Tipp City! They are a teaching facility for most methods of stained glass, including foiled, leaded, mosaic and fused. Check out their website for workshop schedules and registrations.
Anniversaries
Miami County is celebrating many significant anniversaries in 2026 such as The Strawberry Festivals 50th, Hayner Cultural Center 50th, Miami County Library’s 130th, the 10th Piqua Holiday Horse Parade, and more!
