Second Story Secrets

What's Upstairs in Downtown? That question led Troy Community Works, in collaboration with Leadership Troy, to create the Second Story Secrets Tour in 2014. The 2025 tour will be held on November 1, 2025 from 1pm-5pm. The tour offers a rare chance to slip inside the upper floors and little-known spaces around downtown. 8-10 Locations in all with a SECRET location revealed the evening of the event!

Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) On Monday, November 17 at 7 PM, as part of the WACO Aviation Lecture Series, Jason Foley from the Cincinnati Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) will present on the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) which was effective October 23. Foley is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Gold Seal Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI), has worked as an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector and currently is the FAA Safety Team Program Manager. Sunshade Holiday Fest

Building on the momentum of this year’s Summer Fest, the Sunshade Building will host its next seasonal celebration, the Sunshade Holiday Fest, on Saturday, November 22 from 12–3 PM. The event will feature more than 25 local artists and makers, open studios, food trucks, coffee, and more. This season’s event expands into the building’s first floor, adding 12 new vendors for a total of more than 25 artists and makers.
