QuadState: Southern Ohio Forge & Anvil Competition

So much more than just another event! QuadState is, in a word, incredible. Fairgrounds, competitions, demonstrations, food, fun, family, all packed into three extraordinary days in the perfect Fall weather. No wonder blacksmiths from around the globe make this a must-attend event, year after year. Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil (SOFA), an affiliate of ABANA, is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1977. Its founders, Emmert Studebaker, Larry Wood, and Bob Zeller were inspired by ABANA and former Ohio Artists Blacksmith Association to create an organization to preserve and promote the art of blacksmithing.

Mum Festival Cruise In

What: The 30th annual Antique and Show Car Cruise-In. When: Friday, September 27th from 4pm-10pm Why you should go: This is one of the biggest car shows in the area and the largest festival car show in Ohio. What will you see: Hundreds of classic cars, muscle cars, and sportsters from every era of the automobile.  Prepare to be impressed, and come hungry as the downtown venue will feature food trucks, sidewalk vendors as well as sit down eating within Tipp City’s famed restaurants.  

Tipp City Mum Fest

The Tipp City Mum Festival is full of activities, vendors, entertainment, arts & crafts, great food and of course, MUMS! The Mum Festival Antique and Show Car Cruise-In packs the historic downtown area with hundreds of quality and unique vehicles for the largest festival car show in the state. Our Saturday morning parade still draws spectators near and far with bands, floats, clowns and entertainment. That's not all - for two days the City Park turns into the festival grounds with something for everyone!

Film Series at Troy-Hayner: House on Haunted Hill

Friday Night Movies at the Hayner Center feature classic films with an informational introduction, café style seating, popcorn, and soda. All movies are free and open to the public. Paint Ohio History: Tipp City

The 2024 Paint Ohio History Plein Air date is October 5th. All artists, art lovers, and the general public is invited to attend! Saturday, October 5th: The Tipp Center is our home base for registration and the wet sale on Saturday. Artists will be free to choose areas in the vicinity to plein air. A children's plein air area will be located in downtown Tipp.

HERO HARVEST 5K Fun Run

All proceeds from the race help programs offered by Operation Veteran and Caregiver support to connect, empower and transform the lives of all veterans, families, widows and active duty in all branches. This is a great opportunity to visit any or all of these wonderful sites in one afternoon. These sites are not usually open at the same time. Together, these museums and historical sites tell the history of Troy, Ohio.
