Pleasant Hill Lights up the Night!

A wonderful way to spend, Saturday, July 2nd is at the Pleasant Hill Light Up the Night Festival! The event kicks off with a parade, which leads to the Festival site, at the Community Park behind Newton Schools, in Miami County! Food and craft vendors, along with food trucks sure to please your appetite. Cartoonist, live entertainment, Music trivia, cornhole, a Little Firecracker pageant and a car show is just some of the entertainment available. Scavenger Hunt Hosted by Piqua-Caldwell Historic District During the quarantine last year, the Piqua-Caldwell Historic District (PCHD) had the idea to host a scavenger hunt as a way to safely get families outdoors for some fun. The event was such a success, the PCHD Association has decided to host once again this summer. Hunters will be searching for 16 specific architectural features found on homes or business properties within the district. Hunters can pick up their map at 618 N. Strawberry Classic 5k/10k

The Strawberry Festival is back once again for 2023!   The Strawberry Classic 5k and 10k runs, and the Strawberry Shortcake 1k are great events on the Sunday morning of the festival.  After the race, runners are rewarded with a well-earned Strawberry donut, one of the staples of the festival.  All 5k and 10k runners receive a custom finisher's medal and all shortcake runners earn a ribbon!
