Tipp City Library Goes to the Movies: Toy Story

Monday, August 3rd, 6:30 – 8pm, Toy Story (1995) – Join the Tipp City Public Library as we celebrate America250 by participating in Ohio Goes to the Movies – a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohio’s actors, directors, writers, composers, locations, and topics, shown in cities and towns across the state. Tipp City Public Library will be showing the film Toy Story (1995) .
Toy Story is about Woody (Tom Hanks), a good-hearted cowboy doll who belongs to a young boy named Andy (John Morris), sees his position as Andy’s favorite toy jeopardized when his parents buy him a Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) action figure. Even worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he’s a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet. When Andy’s family moves to a new house, Woody and Buzz must escape the clutches of maladjusted neighbor Sid Phillips (Erik von Detten) and reunite with their boy.
Popcorn and water will be available for patrons during the movie.
Ohio Connection: This film’s Actor (Tom Hanks) has strong ties to Cleveland and Wright State University.
