Talk Like a Colonist

Ever wondered where odd, old saying came from?
Come join us at YWCA Piqua at our Monthly Luncheon for our first America 250 program, when Steven J. Kaplan, Ohio SAR 2025 President, will present his program, “Talk Like a Colonist.”
During this unique program on Colonial expressions, Kaplan will explain the origins of phrases such as “raining cats & dogs” or “cost an arm & a leg,” for example. Don’t miss this fun and interesting program at 418 N. Wayne St., Piqua, on Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m.
Lunch is served (for $8) promptly at noon after the program concludes.
