The Miami Co. OH Farmers & Artisans Market will be held on Wed. April 16th from 3:00 – 6:30 pm at the Staunton Grange 1530 North Market Street, Troy, Ohio,45373 (Located in northern Troy next to Troy Fire Station 12.)
The Market will feature locally grown garden plants by Burns Green Market including slicer and cherry tomato, kale, cucumber, broccoli and lettuce. These healthy plants that are perfect for you to get a head start on your garden this summer with healthy plants and also leafy green plants for your salad bowl now. FREE samples of locally made baked goods in celebration of the “Easter Season” including Spring Teas, fresh baked samples and quick breads will be provided to market attendees. Featured at the market are locally raised canned and frozen beef and pork along with locally produced honey and maple syrup, jams, jellies, herbal culinary mixes, tea blends and gourmet sweet treats for your Easter meal will be featured. Homemade quick bread, and Italian Waffle Pizzelle Cookies will also be available at the market. Artisan items include amazing quilted creations, hand crocheted cuddly stuffed animals, Easter hair bows, scrunchies, wristlet keychains and baby items. Embroidery on sweaters, sweatshirts, napkins and dish towels., self-care herbal items including salves, lotions, tinctures and sachets. Handmade, jewelry, unique linens, local landmark note cards, and other handmade artisan items. Children’s items including, colorful pot holders, Easter Gnomes stuffed animals, handmade fabric bags for shopping, clever purses made of recycled fabrics including jeans loved by folks of all ages, toddler purses and quilted things.
