Benjamin Overfield welcomed pioneer settlers to his tavern 200 years ago. Today his home and tavern welcome travelers.

As a historical landmark, the Museum has been meticulously restored to reflect life circa the mid to late 1820s. It now contains a rare collection of early 19th-century furniture, household items, and artifacts. This collection represents the type of items that travelers would have brought with them to the area and those that settlers would have crafted with local materials. Each room of the tavern has been decorated to reflect its original use. The museum annex houses an art gallery, a classroom for visiting school groups, and a library.

Admission:   $1.00 Donation per person
