Log Cabin

6345 W. Versailles Rd   |  Piqua, Ohio

The owners selected this pattern because it reminded him of the many patterns that his wife used to quilt. She made over 100 quilts in her lifetime, and this was a favorite. The barn is constructed of wood and was built in the 1930s. Originally, it was utilized as housing for the hogs that they raised and for storage. Today, it is used primarily for storage only.

Located Northwest of Piqua. From Piqua, take Rt. 185 West to Mulberry Grove-Rakestraw Rd. and turn North…..continue to West Versailles Rd. and turn right. Barn is located approximately ¼ mile from the intersection. DOUBLE HOURGLASS is also on W. Versailles Rd. to the west of this barn quilt, near intersection of St. Rt. 48 in Polo.
