The pattern was selected because green and white are the colors of Bethel Township School in Miami County. The owners graduated from that school in 1946. The barn, which was built new in 1962, is a wood pole barn used primarily for a farm shop and garage. It replaced a chicken house which was ready for demolition.
This barn is located midway between Tipp City and West Milton on Rt. 571, approximately 4 miles west of Tipp City or 3.5 miles east of St. Rt. 48, south side of the road. Best viewed traveling east to west – you will pass Worley Rd. where you can also see Barn Quilt Pattern 54-40 or Fight.
