For the best in sprint, late model & stock car racing, visit this famous Darke County speedway. Spectators can watch professional racing nearly every weekend in spring, summer & fall. Eldora Speedway, carved out of farmland in western Ohio, is a half-mile, high banked, oval dirt racing facility, known for strong fields, close wheel-to-wheel action & outrageous purses.  The ‘Big E’ is proudly owned by  NASCAR Champion, Tony Stewart. The Indiana native purchased Eldora from legendary promoter Earl Baltes in 2004. Baltes built Eldora in 1954 & had been the sole owner of the facility from day number one.

Eldora plays host to some of the largest dirt racing events in the country, including the Prelude, Dream, Kings Royal, & World 100 – all of which attract over 20,000 spectators on an annual basis.
