Piqua Day Trip
Located in the heart of Piqua is the beautifully restored Fort Piqua Plaza. An architectural treasure, the building was restored to the 1914 remodeled era of the hotel. Previously known as the Fort Piqua Hotel, it was transformed into a spectacular multi-use community building. Throughout the building is stained glass windows, breathtaking skylights and a marble grand staircase. The Piqua Public Library is also located inside while the second story is home to an art gallery and Local History Department.
Immerse yourself in the world of Winans Chocolates + Coffees. In its fourth generation of family ownership, Winans has been in service since the 1960s. You will learn the family’s history while seeing how their chocolates are made. You’ll get to even sample sweet treats and coffees.
Grab a bite to eat at 311 Drafthouse. There, you’ll fine an expansive menu as well as craft beers and local wines. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
