Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty) spar with each other\, scout Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) and grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) on their way to fame.
