SUMMARY:Brukner Nature Center’s 5K Run Wild for Wildlife
DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy running or hiking on woodland trails\, you’ll love BNC’s 5K Run Wild for Wildlife! This 5K run/walk starts and finishes at the parking lot and winds through the woods along wildflower studded trails. Steep hills and rough terrain is involved but you can handle it!  Bring a friend\, but leave Fido at home\, pets are not allowed at BNC – they scare our wildlife! (Pre-registration event only) \nEntry fees include an eco-friendly bag of goodies\, plus the opportunity to add on a cool race T-shirt (design is in the works)!  All proceeds from this fundraiser support our wildlife program.  Did you know that we are home to over 50 Wildlife Ambassadors?  These native Ohio species are no longer able to survive in the wild and are the stars of every one of our programs and fundraisers!  Be sure to check them out after the event.

DESCRIPTION:Troy-Hayner Cultural Center to Host 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Ball \nTROY\, Ohio — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will celebrate a major milestone in 2026 with a 50th Anniversary Ball\, an elegant evening honoring fifty years of arts\, culture\, and community in Troy. \nThe event will take place on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026\, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center. Reservations for the event are $75 per person and include two drink tickets. Space is limited\, and advance reservations are required. \nGuests will enjoy live music by Heather and the Swing Set\, along with a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages\, including a signature cocktail created for the occasion using a special batch of Hayner Distillery whiskey. Throughout the evening\, guests will also experience art in action as an artist creates a live painting of Heather and the Swing Set performing in the Ballroom. \nAdditional music will be featured throughout the mansion during the evening.
