Reservations for the event are $75 per person and include two drink tickets. Space is limited\, and advance reservations are required. \nGuests will enjoy live music by Heather and the Swing Set\, along with a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages\, including a signature cocktail created for the occasion using a special batch of Hayner Distillery whiskey. Throughout the evening\, guests will also experience art in action as an artist creates a live painting of Heather and the Swing Set performing in the Ballroom. \nAdditional music will be featured throughout the mansion during the evening. In Miami County the tree will be planted by the Miami County Courthouse Plaza on April 24\, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.. The Courthouse was chosen as the site for the Heritage Tree because the Courthouse has been a symbol of history\, justice and longevity in the community. \nThe Heritage Trees initiative draws inspiration from the historic Liberty Tree in Boston during the Revolutionary War period. The Heritage Trees program aims to commemorate America’s 250th Anniversary by planting native-to-Ohio oak trees across the state. Throughout 2025 and 2026\, America 250-Ohio will offer each Ohio county an oak tree in honor of America’s 250th birthday. \nThe Heritage Trees program is made possible by Presenting Sponsor Cenovus Energy. The program was created in partnership with Dawes Arboretum\, Cox Arboretum MetroPark\, Holden Forests & Gardens\, Keep Ohio Beautiful\, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources\, Rowe Arboretum\, and Secrest Arboretum. \nAbout America 250-Ohio  \nIn 2026\, the United States will celebrate its semiquincentennial\, which is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy running or hiking on woodland trails\, you’ll love BNC’s 5K Run Wild for Wildlife! This 5K run/walk starts and finishes at the parking lot and winds through the woods along wildflower studded trails. Steep hills and rough terrain is involved but you can handle it!  Bring a friend\, but leave Fido at home\, pets are not allowed at BNC – they scare our wildlife! (Pre-registration event only) \nEntry fees include an eco-friendly bag of goodies\, plus the opportunity to add on a cool race T-shirt (design is in the works)!  All proceeds from this fundraiser support our wildlife program.  Did you know that we are home to over 50 Wildlife Ambassadors?  These native Ohio species are no longer able to survive in the wild and are the stars of every one of our programs and fundraisers!  Be sure to check them out after the event.

The evening opens with a brief interview\, offering audiences a chance to hear directly from the featured artists about their music and inspirations before the concert begins. \nThis year’s performance will feature the Premazzi/Nasser Quartet on Friday\, March 28\, 2026 at 7:00 pm in the Hayner Ballroom. She shares the magic of Ohio’s species with colorful graphic designs\, teaching us their adaptations\, habitats and uniqueness without writing a word! \nAt 7:15\, we’ll settle into our seats to welcome Neil Baker\, Wildlife Research Technician for the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s District Five. Hailing from Darke County\, Neil covers the Southwest portion of Ohio where he works at monitoring wildlife diseases\, conducting wildlife surveys\, and doing educational outreach programs. Neil will share the life history\, identification\, and conservation for Ohio’s (and the world’s!) most diverse set of creatures\, the beetles! What conservation efforts can you make to help not just the beetles\, but all of our insect friends?! Come join the fun and find out! \nAdmission for this seasonal celebration is Free\, so bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing evening of art and entertainment!!
