SUMMARY:Kathy Slack Troy Summer Skating Competition
DESCRIPTION:Come see these young athletes compete! This single and pairs\, as well as dance competition\, is a non-qualifying competition held under the auspices of the U.S. Figure Skating organization. \nSince 1974 Troy Skating Club has hosted its annual Troy Summer Skating Competition. This competition is hosted at Hobart Arena. Troy Summer Competition brings in over 300 skaters from the Midwest and beyond each year. Troy Summer Skating Competition has events ranging from beginners to senior-level skaters\, has both IJS and Test Track events\, showcase as well as Basic Skills.\nStarting in 2018 after the loss of our dear friend and judge Kathy Slack\, who championed\, and put so much passion into this competition\, the Troy Summer Competition was renamed the “Kathy Slack Troy Summer Competition”. \n
