DESCRIPTION:WGI Sport of the Arts is the world’s premier organization producing indoor color guard\, percussion ensemble\, and winds competitions. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format.  \nCompetition\nWGI uses a competition-based approach for organizing events in order to showcase youth activities in pursuit of high standards of achievement. Events include over 60 Regionals and Power Regionals\, which lead to the three-day World Championships that evaluate more than 350 guards\, 250 percussion ensembles\, and 40 winds groups.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 19 and Wednesday\, April 23\, 2026 at 2:00pm – $20/person\, Reservations required \nEach spring\, the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center honors the birthday of our founder\, Mary Jane Hayner\, with an elegant afternoon tea. Guests enjoy a beautifully prepared tea service\, complete with sweets\, savories\, and fine tea in the Hayner Ballroom. \nThis year’s program will carry an Americana theme in recognition of America 250\, Miami County’s celebration of our shared history. Guests can expect a live musical performance with a short poetry reading woven into the program. The full lineup will be announced soon\, but the spirit of the event will blend music\, heritage\, and community. The perfect complement to this cherished Hayner tradition.  \nSeating is limited\, and tickets are required.\nTicket sales will open in January\, 2026. Please check back soon.
