DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, February 17th\, 6pm – 8pm\, The Public (2018) – Join the Tipp City Public Library as we celebrate America250 by participating in Ohio Goes to the Movies – a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohio’s actors\, directors\, writers\, composers\, locations\, and topics\, shown in cities and towns across the state. \nTipp City Public Library will be showing the film The Public (2018). The Public is about an act of civil disobedience that turns into a standoff with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. Popcorn and water will be available for patrons during the movie. \nOhio Connection: This film was made in Ohio This program is funded by a grant from the Miami County’s Visitor Bureau.
