  • This summer, downtown Troy will once again welcome a variety of artwork as part of Troy Main Street’s biennial Sculptures on the Square exhibition. This year’s exhibit features 25 sculptures from artists throughout the United States as well as local artwork that will be hung in local businesses. Sculptures on the Square will be running from June 16 – October 2, 2023. The exhibition will kick off on Friday, June 16th with the Sculptures on the Square Opening Celebration.   • On April 8, 2024, Miami County residents and visitors to the county will be able to experience something that won’t happen in Ohio again until 2099 – a total solar eclipse. A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the Sun.     Berries Rock! The Troy Strawberry Festival is back and better than ever for its first festival since 2019. Located along the banks of the Great Miami River and through downtown Troy, this weekend-long festival will take place Saturday, June 3rd, 10:00am-9:00pm, and Sunday, June 4th, 10:00am-6:00pm.   • Climb and zipline with the Miami County Parks District at Lost Creek Reserve!  This 35 foot tall wooden tower was completed last fall. Features include two rock walls, a cargo net climb, and the 450ft zip line. The tower allows participants to safely enjoy a climbing experience and the adrenaline rush of riding on a zip line. The tower is only open for programs when tower can be staffed and activities can be led by trained Miami County Park District employees. You can find these programs on the parks website HERE.
