Troy is centrally located in Miami County and serves as the county seat.

Troy is home to Ohio’s largest bicycle ride, the Tour de Donut and to the Strawberry Festival, which hosts 200,000 visitors each year. During the festival, be sure to grab a bite of the famous strawberry shortcakes from the Troy Senior Citizens Center.

Take a stroll around the beautiful downtown square finding things to do and enjoy Troy’s many local shops and boutiques. Stop in at Ivy Court for a new addition to your plant family. 3 Weird Sisters is the place find a variety of unique, vintage, reimagined pieces and antiques. Be sure to check out downtown’s local boutiques such as Ark House, Magnolia MaeBe You Boutique, Echo Boutique, and more.

After you’ve worked up an appetite shopping, enjoy an exquisite meal at one of Troy’s delicious local restaurants. Started in 1935, K’s Hamburgers is known far and wide for their delicious burgers and has been visited by all Presidential campaigns. Enjoy an epic taco on the patio over looking downtown Troy at Agave & Rye. Stop in at Moeller Brew Barn, Troy’s only brewery, for craft beer and great food. Housed in a refinished church, Moeller provides an experience sure to satisfy. Coming soon to downtown Troy is Crafted and Cured, a regional favorite opening in an old bank in 2022!

Treasure Island is one of Troy’s many parks. Located right on the Great Miami Riverway, recently designated as one of only 22  National Water Trails in the United States, Treasure island a great community gathering place. Spend the night on the river in a floating tent with Float Troy. Open throughout the summer, Float Troy gives visitors a camping experience like no other! With the Great Miami River Recreational Trail running through the heart of Troy, runners, walkers, and cyclists can travel along the banks of the river on the longest paved trail network in the nation while enjoying the beauty of the nature that surrounds them. Activities to do abound in Miami County.

For the wildlife and nature enthusiasts, a trip to Brukner Nature Center never disappoints! This award-winning wildlife education and conservation center preserves 235 acres of native habitats with over 6 miles of hiking trails. Visitors can bird watch in the bird vista rooms and enjoy live wildlife exhibits.

Finally, minutes from downtown, visitors can take a step back in history at WACO Air Museum & Airfield. Part of the National Aviation Heritage Area, WACO features two hangars of vintage WACO aircraft and historic aviation artifacts along with a 2000 ft. grass airstrip. Practice your flying skills in the WACO simulator or soar high above Miami County while riding in one of these magnificent biplanes.
